Mix it with olive oil and spread it over flatbread or pizza dough before baking (manakish), sprinkle it over hummus, labneh, eggs, salads and roasted vegetables, or rub it onto chicken and lamb.
How to use it
- Manakish (za'atar flatbread) – Mix 3 tablespoons with 5–6 tablespoons olive oil, spread over flatbread or pizza dough and bake until golden.
- Dips & breakfasts – Sprinkle over hummus, labneh, yoghurt, avocado or eggs with a drizzle of olive oil.
- Roasts – Rub over chicken, lamb or vegetables with oil and lemon before roasting.
