Greenfields Peri-Peri Spice Blend is a spicy, tangy peri-peri (piri piri) seasoning built on bird’s eye chilli, with garlic granules, kibbled onion, black pepper, sea salt, basil, oregano, coriander and bay leaves. Greenfields is a London-based herbs and spices brand that has supplied quality ingredients since 1982.
Rub it onto chicken, wings, prawns or halloumi before grilling, sprinkle it over chips and roasted potatoes, or stir it into sauces, soups, mayonnaise and marinades for a fiery kick.
How to use it
- Peri-peri chicken – Mix 2 tablespoons with 3 tablespoons oil, lemon juice and a crushed garlic clove. Marinate chicken for an hour, then grill or roast.
- Peri-peri chips – Toss hot chips or wedges with a pinch of the seasoning.
- Peri mayo – Stir ½ teaspoon into mayonnaise with a squeeze of lemon.
