Greenfields Lebanese 7 Spice 75g

Greenfields Lebanese 7 Spice (sabaa baharat) is a fragrant, warming Lebanese spice mix with gentle heat and a touch of sweetness, built on pepper, cinnamon, pimento (allspice), cloves, cumin, fenugreek, caraway, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg and coriander. Greenfields is a London-based herbs and spices brand that has supplied quality ingredients since 1982.

Season minced meat for kibbeh and kofta, rub it over lamb or chicken, or stir it into rice, lentils, stuffed vegetables, stews and tomato sauces.

How to use it

• Kofta & kibbeh – Mix 2 teaspoons into 500g minced lamb or beef with grated onion and chopped parsley.
• Spiced rice with mince – Fry minced meat with onion, add 1–2 teaspoons of 7 Spice, then cook with rice and stock.
• Roast chicken – Rub over chicken with olive oil, garlic and lemon before roasting.
