Used across Persian, Iraqi and Gulf cooking – pierce and simmer them whole in stews, soups and rice, or crush and grind them into rubs, marinades and dressings.
How to use it
- Stews & soups – Pierce 2–3 limes and simmer them in the pot; press to release the juices and remove before serving.
- Rice – Add a pierced lime to the cooking water or stock for a citrusy note.
- Ground – Crack open, remove the seeds and grind for rubs, marinades and dressings.
