Greenfields Dried Lemongrass 50g

Greenfields Lemon Grass is a lemony, aromatic herb with subtle herbal notes – a key flavour in Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian cooking. Greenfields is a London-based herbs and spices brand that has supplied quality ingredients since 1982.

Simmer it in soups such as tom yum, curries, broths and marinades, blend it into curry pastes, or steep it in hot water for a fragrant lemongrass infusion.

How to use it

• Thai soups & curries – Add 1–2 teaspoons to the broth or curry and simmer for at least 10 minutes; strain if you prefer.
• Infusion – Steep 1 teaspoon in a cup of freshly boiled water for 5 minutes, then strain.
• Marinades & pastes – Grind finely and mix with garlic, chilli and lime for chicken or fish.

They can be fibrous, so strain them out of soups and curries or grind them finely.
