Greenfields Dried Curry Leaves 12g

Greenfields Curry Leaves are dried curry leaves – fragrant, earthy and slightly citrus – a staple of Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. Greenfields is a London-based herbs and spices brand that has supplied quality ingredients since 1982.

Add a few to hot oil at the start of cooking, or toast them lightly in oil, to release their aroma before building dals, curries, sambar, chutneys, rice and potato dishes.

How to use it

• Tadka – Fry 8–10 leaves with mustard seeds and a dried chilli in hot oil, then pour over dal.
• Curries – Add to the oil with the onions at the start of cooking.
• Rice – Toast lightly in oil before stirring through lemon rice or coconut rice.

No – curry leaves come from the curry tree and have their own citrusy aroma.
