Brew them on their own, or with green or black tea, for a fragrant rose infusion; infuse them into sugar syrup or honey; or use them as a decorative garnish for cakes, pavlovas and desserts.
How to enjoy it
- Rose tea – Steep 4–5 buds in a cup of hot water for 5 minutes, alone or with green or black tea, then strain.
- Rose syrup or honey – Warm a handful of buds in sugar syrup or gently in honey, leave to infuse and strain.
- Decoration – Use the whole buds to decorate cakes, pavlovas and desserts.
