Pearl Barley is polished pearl barley – plump, creamy grains that cook to a tender, pleasantly chewy texture with a mild, nutty flavour. A comforting classic for soups and stews.
Add a handful to soups, stews and casseroles to thicken and bulk them out, make a creamy barley risotto (orzotto), or cook and cool for hearty grain salads. Rinse, then simmer for about 30–40 minutes until tender.
