Biryani Masala is a fragrant spice mix made to make biryani quicker and easier – aromatic warmth that lifts rice, meat and vegetable dishes.
Layer flavour into chicken, lamb, beef, fish or vegetable biryani, mix it with yoghurt as a marinade, or add it to pilau, soups and roasted vegetables.

How to use it
- Chicken biryani – Marinate 500g chicken in yoghurt with 2 tablespoons for an hour. Cook with fried onions and tomatoes, layer with par-boiled basmati rice and steam on a low heat until tender.
- Vegetable biryani – Fry onions, add 1–2 tablespoons and mixed vegetables, then layer with rice and steam.
- Marinade – Mix with yoghurt, lemon juice and garlic for grilled meat, fish or paneer.
